Conan Doyle or Doyle?

This has been bugging me for a while and there's nothing I can do about it.

Arthur Conan Doyle was born first name Arthur, middle name Conan, last name Doyle. When he grew up he changed his last name to Conan Doyle.

Why he do this? Some sources say that he wanted to honor his Grandmother and uncle and distance himself from his father, who was an alcoholic and abusive to his mother.

They had a complicated relationship as adults. ACD trully admired his father as an artist, but never admired him as a person.

In his autobiography ACD describes his late father's life as "full of the tragedy of unfulfilled powers and of underdeveloped gifts".

Having said all of this, he never legally changed his last name despite having the means and time to do so. He gave his offspring the last name Conan Doyle, and his Estate is the Conan Doyle Estate, but he was knighted as Sir Doyle.

So, is it Doyle and Conan Doyle? Depending on the point of view, both answers are equally correct.

Which is what makes it so frustrating! I see you all call him "Doyle" all the time and I'm denied the simple nerdy joy of responding with an "Ummm, Actually..."

SF Debris Found an Easter Egg, I think most missed at 3;20

In the comments, he says....

I recalled that there was the "This is a time portal" (or something to that effect) for Those Old Scientists, so when I saw the 4 - 2 - 1 opening and that the last two of the first word matched the second word, I figured it was an easter egg. Once you figure out all the letters that appear more than once, it essentially becomes Wheel of Fortune. :-)
