How good is the new Steam Controller in general? And how does it perform for point-and-click and RTS games?

I see a lot of posts of people flexing their new Steam controller but none about how good it actually is.

How is in general?

Do the trackpads actually work well enough for point-and-click or RTS games (or any other game that needs a mouse)? Give some feedback :)

In the top bar I still see it full charged after a few days and that's clearly impossible. In the bluetooth section I think I'm seeing a more correct indicator.

What about you?

It seems to work fine for the first Boktai, but not the second one. Even selecting a level 10 on the sensor, inside the game still stays at 0 all the time. Is it a bug or is there something I can do to fix it?
