I've been learning MIG welding at my engineering internship (tips wanted)

For my internship assignment I need to make a space frame for a research vehicle. I've been teaching myself how to mig weld for the last 3 weeks because of it and here's a practice piece of mine in the photos. I still suck ass at tube welding and those I want to ask

  1. How are my current welds and what's there to improve?

  2. What are techniques or tips to attack tubular welds and to improve?

Janky SSD cooling solution

Think some of you might enjoy this, i had a costumer that had a failing SSD, first time I dealt with this, so it took a lot of diagnosing and trouble shooting.

In the end I'm cloning his drive right now with HDDsuperclone (whole other thing cause first time i installed and worked with Linux/Ubuntu) but the drive was getting very hot and bothered so I improvised a Cooling solution. I put thermal paste on the main chips and put half a staple stack on each and with a fan its staying cool enough to maintain stable data rates. Kinda proud ngl.

Cutest little encounter

I came to my gf's place today and she said there was a spider. Didn't look like a spider at first but came closer and jepp, it was a spider that caught something. Looked even closer and saw this little fella! I didn't know we had (what I think is a) jumping spiders in the Netherlands(Gelderland)!

Picked it up to take it outside and it just chilled on my hand after realising I wasn't gonna kill it. Adorable and curious little guy that made me smile like a dumbass and made me go on a 10 min autistic gloating rant about it to my gf, then released it because she's got arachnophobia. :)
