In a nutshell: The current administration is trying to limit what research can and should be funded by taxpayers based on political ideology.
Science, real science and research does not care about who is in office or the political opinions of the technician operating the equipment. Science is about asking questions, finding answers and saying "I don't know" when it's appropriate. Science can not and should not be limited by conservative or liberal ideologies.
I'm a 50-year-old male who's had body dysmorphia my whole life. I've never been happy with the way that I looked. I've seen a really good therapist off and on for 10 years now.
I wanted to lose weight. I wanted to be thinner more trim. I did it all: Diet, exercise, calorie reduction, calories in calories out, powerlifting and regular strength training. Nothing ever achieved my goal of being fit and trim. I was getting heavier by the year and my blood work was getting worse. I finally got to a A1C value of 6.4.
I took Wegovey, had bad side effects, switched to Zepbound and the side effects are still there but not as bad.
By all markers Zepbound has been a great success. I've lost 50 lb. My blood work is better.
Guess what?..... I still hate the way I look
Edit: When I posted this earlier this morning I did not know it was a wrong way crash. Given that fact I can understand the devistation of the one car I saw.
I drove by this morning on my way to work. The car that I saw was all but gone due to the crash. I can't imagine how fast they were traveling.

I removed these timbers from a beat up workbench in a house I was working on. They were 8 feet long. This is the main difference between the older timbers and newer lumber, the growth time. Who knows how many years old this pine was. Thought it was interesting.
I have this 13.5" x 64" slab of Ash that I have been saving for who knows what. I am building a bench. Would it be a good idea to use this as a top? Is it hard enough? I will supplement with red oak. I hate the look of red oak so I will use it in the bench top.
