When using link on my quest 2 with cable. The link will randomly freeze indefinitely until I tab in and out of it, But when I do, my headset screen goes black, but I cant still control my PC with my controllers and still have audio.

I then close Link completely and attempt to reconnect, but it wont let me supposedly because the app on my PC still views the headset as active and connected. So the only way I can reconnect to Link after that, is to use the Oculus Debug Tool, toggle console so the whole thing restarts, and use the short time window to reconnect. But even then it still does the crashing and black screen thing.

Things i have tried :

--------------

Full reinstall of Meta app

Repairing Meta app

Restart PC

Restart Headset

Update drivers

Update headset

Restart Meta app

Manually delete every single file regarding Meta on my pc (tried at least) and reinstalling

Try everything above at least 3 times

--------------

Now keep in mind link has worked, not perfectly fine but has functioned for years now. This issue only recently appeared out of nowhere. Using airlink gives me abysmal performance so that is not an option either.

Note : This piece of software is and always has been a "janky cryptic barely functional piece of f*****g garbage" for lack of better term, and coming from a multibillion dollar company, it is abysmal. Every time I go to use anything made by Meta, it is never a smooth experience, something always breaks, I always have to fight with something, the bugs get more and more nonsensical, and now it is actively preventing me from using any of it for literally no reason, this just appeared out of nowhere. In short, get your s**t together Meta.

And anyone who has the slightest idea on how to fix this, please share it would be greatly appreciated.
