Fastrak in Hanoi Experience

Arrived in Hanoi from BKK last Saturday 6/20 and purchased the Fastrak as I do whenever I visit Vietnam. And boy am I glad I did. The immigration line was several hundred long and had to be at least a 2+ hour wait.

As my family was escorted to the Fastrak line (we were the ONLY ONES IN that line), I see a lot of people looking at us pointing fingers then looking toward where we came from and probably wondering if they were in the right line OR if they too could get in this Fastrak line. Needless to say, I saw a lot of frustrated and tired folks in that line. We got thru immigration in less than 5 minutes!

The only bad part was that we had to wait 30 minutes for our luggage, but I'll take that ANY day.

I'll probably get a lot of downvotes as I know not everyone can or is willing to pay for Fastrak, but I'll never NOT purchase FT when coming to VN.

I've lived here for so long, that I remember when....

415 was the area code for the entire Bay Area! There was no 650, 510, 925, etc.

I've mostly been collecting vinyl for a while now. However, within the last few years, I've been picking up a few CDs and cassettes here and there. Fast forward to this year and it's accelerated. I realized I've purchased several small collections of CDs and cassettes and for some reason, look for albums that I already have on vinyl. Is it weird to want the same title in multiple formats?
