I would like to venture into e commerce with my specific target being the developed world(US,UK, Europe) through sale of digital products including e books, templates, cook books, custom made software etc. Now here is the catch;

1. I do not have a registered US business

2. I don't have a US bank account

3. I am afraid that if I start my funds may be withheld as it has been with PayPal. I am only doing legit business

4. I do not know the best platform to work with as per tax agreements with Kenya. I tried Amazon Kdp and govt actually takes 40 percent of earnings.

Now here is what I am thinking;

1. I register a business in a tax favorable region in either the US, UK or Europe. Preferably US

2. I setup a bank account there

3. Use these details to setup the different e commerce platforms as I believe this will help verify that the account is based in the US. I heard that stripe helps with some aspects of SEO but I'm not sure

4. I start content creation around my niche to ascertain competence and curate it specifically for the US audience

5. Earn big

I would like to understand what the downsides are to this and whether I would be shooting myself in the foot as well it is actually worth the effort. Looking forward to all your insights 🤝

We managed to setup but later realized that all connections in the apartments in thensurrounding area were illegal and are currently looking for a more robust alternative. I'm in Kitengela and apparently the target area was not fiber ready. Baffles me that over 50 connections could be illegally connected to buildings in that area. Anyway, liquid telecom is too expensive as they would like us to purchase their equipment too to enable a robust connection. Airtel uses radio frequencies which are totally unstable and easily attenuate. Local ISPs are charging 120x the bandwidth one wants for resellers which doesn't make financial sense considering we would like 150mbps. I would reallybappreciate any pointers guys

Hello guys, I trust you are all well. I need some motivation for my portfolio website that I am revamping. The previous one (Already pulled down), was quite basic with HTML and CSS as the main languages used. I have previously seen some exceptional personal websites online especially from various techies here in Kenya. I am currently working on contractual and freelance basis as a data analyst. In my previous role I worked with an Italian client who referred me to lots of people who especially asked for my portfolio website. I still work for them but some have previously declined as they believe I should brand myself better as mine was too 'basic'. I have come to the realisation that I basically have no time to myself at all. Most time on my hands is spent hustling and with the increasingly difficult global economy it is becoming even more hectic. I tried starting a book club on reddit here twice but it barely made it past 2 months. This makes me find myself in th club occassionally but I am trying to get into more constructive past times with zero indulgence. I also tried cycling but Kenyan roads are too risky so nikachorea. I occassionally go for morning runs but during the morning which makes it much less interesting and I basically do not interact with anyone. I have also noticed most hobbies I would be interested in within Nairobi are abit pricey. I would realy like some ideas and I am looking to engage in these activities from this month. I’m currently a Data Analyst making the transition into Data Engineering. My old machine has handled basic SQL queries and light Pandas scripts fine, but it’s completely hitting a wall now that I'm setting up local engineering environments.
I’m building local pipelines using Docker, local PostgreSQL databases, Apache Spark (PySpark), and running Airflow DAGs.
My max budget is 90k.I can't afford a modern MacBook Pro or a brand-new top-tier workstation, so I need to optimize for what will give me the best raw power.

A close relative was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer. No one in our family has ever suffered from this and it was a real shock. She hasn’t been sick before and is now currently in hospital. Sometime back a friend of mine also lost his aunty through the same type of cancer and knowing how serious it is, I would like to know how this must have come about. I know she used to drink a bit until like 4 years ago and she is currently in her sixties. I would like to know how this happened or what must have triggered it. Cancer is really a huge problem back here in Kenya man!

US Mobile is also great but huwa inaflag simu zenye sio iPhone sana from my experience. Visible is a great alternative but haiwezi kusaidia Kama simu ni ya upuzi.
