What do you think of Setzer?

I've heard some people like Setzer and consider him adventurous rogue. A cheeky rascal if you will. I'm playing through this game again for my blog, and honestly I hate this guy.

Lets just look at after the kidnapping. After Setzer kidnaps the woman he thinks he loves, he throws her in a room because he has better stuff to do right now. When he returns the gang strokes his ego and he agrees to listen to them. But after they talk of the travesties committed by the Empire, it doesn't work. Instead Setzer says he will help if he can marry Celes. WHO IS NOT THE WOMAN HE PROFESSED HIS LOVE FOR. She is a stranger, but she pretty, so I'm going to marry her instead. I honestly can't with this dude. I know we get some backstory, but he never really redeems himself. Because backstory may explain S A, but it cannot excuse it.

He is the only person I would neglect in the World of Ruin, but I can't even do that.

[No due date] Regular proofreading for Star Wars, Final Fantasy, or Percy Jackson fans

As the title says. I have three blogs on the above topics

Blind deep dives and reviews of all canonical Star Wars material in chronological order.

Blind reactions to the Percy Jackson books and TV show.

Deep dives on the Final Fantasy series in release order.

I would love to find fans of these series who can take a look at my posts before they go live and give some feedback on typos and general flow. Happy to provide links if anybody wants examples.

How to drive traffic to my review blogs

I have been blogging for about 2 years now, and my numbers are lower than I would like. I have 3 blogs doing readthroughs and reviews of 3 fandoms. I have gotten 2.2k views across all three, with 1.6 coming from one Star Wars. Star Wars is taking a chronological approach, Percy Jackson and Final Fantasy are release order. I tell you this because my hands are somewhat tied in that I couldn't review The Mandalorian and Grogu or other current releases - the exception being a comic miniseries that's releasing and set after a time period I've already covered.

What's the best way to increase these? I have started using Pinterest (quite recently) with a picture of the material I'm reviewing and a hook. I post a reel to Facebook for each blog post. I try to optimise SEO through tags. Am I missing something?

Unremembered

This is the second time I've felt inspired to write a poem. It's not something I have studied or trained. I don't even read much poetry. But I've had a lot of thoughts and emotions lately, and this seems a good way to express myself. I'd love to know you all think.

Unremembered

I grew up learning how to just survive

Still fighting hard to feel truly alive

I know I should work through it

But I don't know how to do it.

Because I don't remember my childhood.

So can you tell me how I should

Exorcise my demons

From past seasons of my life.

With no memory of youth

To help me feel rooted.

I don't know my own truth.

I feel lost in space

Never had a safe space.

Never felt a warm embrace

Never heard loving words from a smiling face.

Every day another argument

Shame the prevailing sentiment.

It threatened my development

So my brain kept me sane.

It removed me from the pain.

Yeah, I checked out.

My memories blacked out.

Grew up filled with doubts

I often thought about

what might have been

If I'd been seen.

Or heard.

Or if anyone had cared.

But I've had an epiphany

With the past a mystery

The future's all I see

I am free

to be

me.
