Poor timing by Eby

Does anyone else find the timing of the election almost a slap in the fact for Public Service workers? My Facebook memories are being flooded with the strike from last year and now we are going to vote?  I remember talking to coworkers last year saying “oh it’s a good thing there isn’t an election for a while because they just pissed off all the public service workers.”

Again, this isn’t about what party is better for the union, it is just like a slap in the face that you want my vote when a year ago we were in a historically long strike.

Taking back a mother's day gift

So I need to preface by saying I'm 41 (f).

When I was 11 my babysitter took me two towns over about an hour away to a pottery store to buy something. I thought it was the coolest store ever. I had my dad take me there to get my mom a mother's day gift. We got her a $80 one of a kind bowl. Two years later they divorced. He kept asking if she wanted it and she never did. He still has it.

Would I be the AH if I asked to have it? I have amazing memories with my babysitter and still talk to her. I would connect it more to her than my mom. I really dont think my dad would care but I feel bad because obviously he paid for it because I was 11 at the time

Springvalley Attack Update?

Will we get anymore updates on what happened at SVM? Any time that there has been an assault with a minor it is the parents of the victim that give updates but I haven't seen anything from the children that were attacked. Yes she is a minor but it would be nice to know who she is. Having her in custody helps but for how long?
