[Discussion] Xiaomi 15T to 17T

I bought a Xiaomi 15T last December and it was my first upgrade in a very big while (from a Samsung a22), but the 17T was released a few months later

I was looking for a good phone before buying my 15T and 2 of my main preferences was being compact and an amazing camera, I sacrificed the compactness for the 15T since I was in need of a new phone and it had good cameras but then I realized the 2x optical zoom really sucks it feels incredibly useless to me and it offers very similar pictures to the 2x digital zoom. Since I'm very much into photography is it wise to upgrade to the 17t? It has the compactness and the great cameras I've wanted

I know the difference is minimal but I'm not sure whether it's worth it to pay a little extra for the 5x optical zoom or not, and will I struggle when I take 2-4x zoom photos?

[Discussion] Hyper island

I feel like their kind of dynamic island sucks and needs to be reworked. for me I feel like the point of the dynamic island is that the notch expands and has a purpose but the way that the app expands outside of the notch feels useless they should also add functionalities, add animation and and a visualizer when songs play or when you're calling somebody. feels more of a bad gimmick than an actual functionality that feels absolutely useless. Also it has zero customization which ruins it more than it's already ruined

Aerospace career with a mechatronics degree.

Im an Egyptian student who was always into space, my dream major has always been aerospace engineering, but I've found that aerospace was only in 2 universities in Egypt, first one I didn't get accepted the other was too expensive for me, so I've switched to a private university. I've recently found out that it didn't have a mechanical engineering department either and no other private university does (few does and they're very far away from where I am). So I only have the mechatronics engineering department available. Is it enough to get me into an aerospace career? Can I take courses? Get a masters degree in aerospace? I'm kind of confused if anything is available for it.

[question] hyperos 4

I know, nobody prob knows the answer to my question. But phones like the Xiaomi 15T, 14T, Redmi, etc... don't have advanced textures unless enabled forcefully

Will hyperos 4 have this automatically enabled for these phones? Will it have normal blur and liquid glass? Would it be enabled by force in the future if it doesn't work?

huge ram usage randomly

i sadly dont have a picture because i panicked and instantly closed the browser, but i found my laptop lagging very badly and found that zen was using 98% of my ram usage at 11gbs. (i have 16gb) is there a reason for this? i had 3 tabs opened only. i closed and reopened the app with the 3 tabs its taking like 300mbs now

[Question] search button

Is there a way to make this blurred without the frosted glass effect? Like iOS 18's gaussian blur?

i cant study anymore from boredom and depression

i am a grade 12 (thanaweya) egyptian student, my arabic final exam is coming up in 4 days and in a literal way i just have started studying it after 10 months of not studying it, i know, i was stupid just neglecting it, and im paying the price for doing so. this is the most important exams ever in my life, this grade basically decides what my future is gonna be, living in egypt is not that easy to just live with a bad final grade, i NEED to actually pass this exam with a good mark. but i have been so so bored, i am not happy anymore. everytime i study i feel the boredom consuming me more than ever, i get so irritated quickly while im watching so much that i stop watching the lectures and then get mad at myself for not finishing it. i keep losing focus and concentration, ive tried studying outside but it didnt help me. i have bottled up a lot of emotions for so long i think im experiencing burn out. but i genuinely need to pass this exam desperately, i can barely concentrate while watching a lecture anymore, most of them are 3+ or 6+ hours. after i hit the one hour mark i begin to get bored and lose focus. i tried to sleep early and wake up early but that didnt help either, i also tried pomodoro and that as well didnt work. i have nothing to do when im resting, so that 10-15 minutes rest dont help either. i dont know what to do and ive been in this kind of loop for over 3 weeks and i desperately need help
