Regarding the #1 winner in Eco-Friendly Fun results...

Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a winner without all the sparkles and lights and jam-packed scenes that usually win week after week? I don't know if the person who created this snap is on this sub or not, but I just want to offer my congratulations on your win and tell you how much I like your snap! Well-deserved!

Explosions of Color results - 1,500 moonstones - 17,200 rank

Well, this was a disappointing result. After seeing the top 3, I guess voters were looking for more characters synced up to the corresponding background colors.

[WW] Has anyone gone back to play an old Zelda game and the camera controls are difficult to get used to after playing the modern games?

I just started replaying Wind Waker on the Switch 2 virtual console the other day, and I am having so much trouble getting used to the camera controls. They are inverted and I can't find a way to switch them to "normal" so I always turn the camera the opposite way that I want it to go. Is there a setting in the Switch 2 master settings I can change to always make inverted control "normal" similar to PS5 or Xbox? I'm pretty sure there is not a setting in the game.

I encountered this issue when trying to replay Super Mario 64 too. I have such fond memories of these older games, but after being spoiled on the camera systems in modern games, it is rough going back and trying to play these.

Cherished Childhood results - 4K - Rank 8,967

Kind of surprised I squeaked out a 4K with an almost 9,000 ranking, but I'll take it! There must have been a lot of submissions.

I have a weird (complex?) permissions issue I'm trying to figure out with TOTK and multiple profiles. Little help?

This may get kind of complicated, please bear with me. I just got a Switch 2 for Father's Day. We had multiple user profiles on our Switch 1 that we made because we wanted to play through Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom multiple times without erasing our original games on our main profiles.

One of these profiles was created for my mother-in-law while she was house sitting when we went on vacation. Apparently, she created her own Nintendo Switch Online account because she wanted to play NES and SNES games using the virtual consoles. This was over a year ago so her NSO account has since lapsed. My wife began a TOTK playthrough on my mother-in-law's profile recently since it would be a clean start for TOTK, and now that I have migrated our Switch 1 data over to the Switch 2, she wants to continue her game on the Switch 2.

I downloaded the Switch 2 upgrade and it works on every profile except my mother-in-laws account. It is saying we need a virtual game card or something like that. I'm guessing it's because her profile used to be linked to a unique NSO account?

Fine, we don't have to play in HD, we have the physical copy of the game, but how can we bypass the Switch 2 upgrade on this account and just play the Switch 1 version on the game cart?

Has anyone else noticed that the dig holes that give either night shards or dream shards seem to overwhelmingly give night shards now?

I took a break from digging them because I had amassed a huge supply of both, but after a few star paths and using my dream shards to craft dreamlight, I've recently gone back to digging the holes to get my supplies back up. I'm finding that the holes seem to be giving me two night shards like 80% of the time, and when it is a dream shard, it is just one (it used to give two).

Anyone else seeing this as well, or am I mis-remembering the dream shard drop rates? 🤔

Sorry if this is old news, but I haven't seen it reported anywhere so thought I would post here. In two clean new games now, it has been in the Alpha Centauri system > Olivas > Voss (moon). It is a POI you can see from orbit: "Defunct Broadcasting Station".

I'd be interested if this is the case for other people as well, so please report your findings in your game. I've only ever seen people saying you have to rely on random generation of that POI on a moon somewhere in order to find it.
