TABLES!

TABLES!
I am a month away from my student loan disbursement and am suffering an infected tooth that likely needs removed. I found a place nearby that can see me but I need a little help since I just moved and am not covered yet by state medicaid. If anyone has had a bad cavity or infected tooth, you know how distracting and debilitating the pain can be.
Thank you, everyone; I appreciate you checking out my post!

Hello all! If you check my post history you will see that I am no longer in Vegas and have made it safely to Ohio with so much help from old friends and new; sometimes it feels like more help than I deserve! Now that I am safe and have a place to stay until my next student loan disbursment, I am just trying to borrow some money to cover things like bus fare, laundry machines, things I couldn't pack for the bus ride like detergent and replacement toiletries, food when I need, and to be able to help my friends with some gas money when they help with rides so I am not a complete bum for the next few weeks. I can share pics from my student portal showing my loan amount and dates and will gladly answer any questions. Thank you all!
Edit: I've borrowed and repaid once before, but the lender got banned after lending, so it doesn't show up in my history I guess? if you check my post history, it does appear in one of my Borrow requests before I left Vegas; I messaged the mods about this but never heard back.
I moved to Vegas after both my folks passed to see my brother who had moved away several years earlier. I tried. Vegas just isn't working out for me right now. I had just moved to a new place out here only to discover the landlady was a crazy meth head. I was only there for ten days when she freaked out after stopping by one day, and started screaming at me and tried to attack me. The next day she filed paperwork for me to vacate the property. That was it for me, and I decided to buy a bus ticket and head back east where there are seasons, and rain, and critters. I miss sitting on a porch in the rain and seeing animals.
Myproblem is that I am a fulltime student who receives student loans to cover my living expenses (food, rent, phone, some spending cash for busses and whatnot) but I don't get my next disbursement until August. I have a little money left from the last disbursement, but I spent a bunch moving andpaying a security deposit she won't give back, and now I need a cheap place to stay for a few weeks until my next deposit in August. If you know of a cheap room or a spare couch, please let me know! I don't mind doing housework or anything to help out, either, and was actually managing an airbnb type house in Vegas for a while before the owner sold it. I'm not picky about area, since my classes are all online, I just need a little help to get things sorted and find a more permanent solution once I have more funds.
I appreciate any help or advice that you are willing to share! Thank you for reading and I can't wait to be back with normal people!
I gave it the 'ol college try, but the cost of living is too damn high and, as a cancer survivor and generally sick dude, the hospital systems and doctors leave A LOT to be desired. Also, I miss rainy fall days. I have a bus ticket back east but I really don't want to have to take the bus to catch a bus; I'll have my all my belongings crammed into a suitcase and backpack and I just won't be in the mood to catch three busses in this heat.
Would anyone be willing to give me a ride to the greyhound terminal from probably Commerce and Craig area (but maybe pecos and tropicana) sometime sunday evening? My bus leaves at 12:45, but I figured I get there around 10, or 11 if you are a night owl. I can give you a few bucks for gas if you want, but if I had money to spare , I'd take an uber. If anyone is feeling generous, it would mean so much to me. Thank you for reading all this garbage in any case, and I hope you thrive were I struggled.
Howdy folks! So, my last post is not showing that I had borrowed and repaid before, so I lowered my request since I look like I first time borrower. I just moved to a new place and did not realize my landlady was a meth head and only found out when she stopped by my room and introduced herself to me (we had met and spoken several times by this point) and then got triggered by seeing what her boyfriend, the maintenance man for the property, had done/not done to the room I was renting and started screaming and yelling at me as though it was my fault, going so far as trying to physically attack me. I need to move now and am looking for a little help since I spent all my money moving here. I am a full time student and receive student loans and my next disbursement is in August. I can provide pics from my student portal financial aid page to confirm dates and amount. Thank you!
Howdy!
I recently moved into a place that I thought was going to be a good opportunity for me. When I met the landlady she seemed nice enough, if a little odd - she was insistent on praying for me and kept offering to let me stay on a couch until the room was ready even though I explained I currently had a place and was not in a rush. After being there only ten days or so, she stopped by and introduced herself to me (we had met and talked three or four times by this point) and while talking she 'noticed' several things that her boyfriend, the maintenance man, did not do or did incorrectly while preparing my room. She just snapped and went crazy, screaming at me and even threatening to attack me and my cat and I think the only reason she didn't get physical was that there was another 'maintenance person' with her. The next day she filed paperwork for me to vacate. I learned a few days later from another tenant that her and her boyfriend are actually meth heads and that situations like what happened are not unusual at that property. So now, having spent most of my money on moving and a security deposit that she has promised I won't get back, I have to find somewhere to go and need a little help until I get my next student loan disbursement at the beginning of August. I can provide screenshots of my student portal financial aid page showing my disbursement amount and date. Thank you!
Are there any places that pay you to stay there because they are supposed to be haunted? I am very much a skeptic and would love the opportunity to earn some money proving people wrong.
Edit: I wanted to add that it is only fair that I would offer money should I fail the challenge. I am more than happy to do that. I don't think anyone can offer up an honestly haunted property/place that would cause me to lose. I await any challenge. Prove me wrong. Prove I'm just a scared, little kid like you instead of the rational, grown adult that I am.
Howdy everyone! I find myself in a bit of a bind and am looking for a short term room to rent that is budget friendly. If it is cat friendly, that would be a plus, but I am currently also looking for a foster home during this period, so a no pet policy could potentially work as well. Location does not matter, as I am a full time student online. I'm a 42yo man who is a cancer survivor so I don't drink or smoke cigarettes (I smoke weed, but am responsible enough to be able to abstain if the place is non-smoking). Please reach out if you know of anything available.
After being homeless for a bit after my mum died suddenly from aggressive breast cancer, I moved out to Vegas to be closer to my brother. I have had a very rough time out here, with the place that I was staying and working at (it was an airbnb type place, where I helped with the cleaning and maintenance for discounted rent) getting condemned by the city because the owner had done renovations without permits. Needing to get out pretty quickly, I was able to crash at my brothers for a few nights until I could find something. There was a cheap bed available in a airbnb house, so I moved there as a temporary solution until something more permanent could be found. Weeks turned into months and months turned into a year, and the quality of people staying there got lower and lower, with some leaving crack pipes out to straight up bullying. My temporary solution was becoming a permanent prison. I eventually found a place that was in my budget and looked like a perfect place to focus on my schoolwork but I couldn't have been more wrong. After moving in and being there for only two weeks, I discovered the landlord wasn't, as I thought when I met her, just a little odd and kinda "Churchy" (she was very nice and offered prayers, but seemed a little off) but was actually a meth head with her boyfriend, who is the maintenance guy for the property as well. She stopped by my room and just started screaming at me about stuff the maintenance guy had done and she tried to physically attack me and made a bunch of threats. Two days later the paperwork for me to vacate was taped to my door. Ever since I have been trying to find a place to go, but I spent practically all my money to move here and pay deposits that she has said I wont get back (at least, not with out some kind of legal battle on my end) so I am having trouble. I currently attend school full-time and have a very part-time job. I rely on student loans for my living expenses like rent, food, and phone service and don't get my next disbursement until August and I do not know what I'm going to do until then. I have a cat that I rescued when I moved in because I really thought this was, you know, "my big break, finally" but I was very, very wrong and now I am responsible for her during this mess, too. I don't know what kind of assistance I am looking for, I just need help. I am physically and mentally exhausted from all the obstacles life has thrown my way and I don't want to give up, but I just can't do this one on my own. If someone can foster my cat until I get my disbursement, that would help. If you know of a cheap place to stay, I'd love that info. I don't think I want to stay in Vegas, it's more expensive than I can really afford (while still having time for school) and the hospitals are not very good (which as a cancer survivor and overall not-healthy guy, matter more and more as each year passes) and I miss rainy autumn days, so I am open to suggestions. Heck, even just a friendly ear would be nice, cause I keep trauma dumping on my only friend, and he can not be enjoying that. In any case, I appreciate you taking the time to read all this and hope you all have a wonderful day and get to hug all the people dear to you.
My post was removed because I didn't include how much I am asking for; what it will be used for; money services I accept; location; and description of my situation, so here is that info:
If you want to help financially, I need $900 to cover rent in a weekly until august. I use paypal and cashapp. I am in Vegas and just need a place to stay for two months or so until I get my student loan disbursement in August. I also have a cat that would join me or needs to be fostered until August when I receive my money and can take appropriate, long-term action.
I accidentally moved somewhere with a meth head landlady. After being there for only two weeks she tried to attack me and has since made threats that she was going to do something to me, either physically or legally. I have been trying to find another place but I spent almost all my money moving here and am having trouble making solid plans to get out. I am a full time student and use student loans to cover my living expenses, and I do not get my next disbursement until August. Until then, I am unsure of what I am going to do and it is not fair to subject this poor kitty to that. I am probably moving back to Ohio once I have the money, I just need somewhere safe for my poor cat until I then or I find a place that will allow me to keep her. I only have a little over a week to find her a safe space, so if you can help in any way, please let me know. I made the poor decision (even if unknowingly) of moving here and she should not suffer for it.
Edit for clarification: Cat is a young adult female, fixed. I don't know much more than that since the previous owners just put her outside and then moved. I gave her food and water while she hung around outside until I moved and took her in again.
I just rescued a beautiful, long-hair princess and she is shedding like crazy. I bought the standard Hartz cat brush but since it is rigid plastic it is hard to get all her nooks and crannies. Can you folks recommend a decent, but cheap, alternative? I looked into glove type brushes but I don't know which are the cheap knock-offs and which might actually work, if any do. What is everyone using to keep their kitty looking fab?
