I booked two reward flights yesterday on Saturday, outbound same day and return to Australia this coming Friday.

Outbound flight went without issues.

I notice I haven’t been charged $ for my return flight yet. Although the points have been deducted from my account. There was also a booking reference generated that I can still see on my points transaction history.

I was able to check the flight yesterday in Manage Booking with Qantas and the partner airline (Philippine Airlines). On the partner’s site, it said payment hadn’t been made but well, it existed so i wasnt worried.

Today I checked again and the points transaction is still there; however, the booking reference shows ‘not found’ or ‘does not exist’ when looked up on both airlines.

Should I be worried? Planning to call them tmr.

Been contemplating whether I should get one, I read that you could do some cool things with your hand/finger gestures. Is this something you actually use or it's niche?

Can you set up easy finger gesture to turn page when reading book on your iphone/ipad?, open or even pick a specific apple wallet card, start a workout, next song, change volume etc?

What do you use it for?

I am looking to fly to Germany late Feb and returning mid-March 2027 and keen to grab the reward flights with the points I have. When should I start looking? ASAP? Does Qantas tend to release more reward flights closer to the date?

Also, with the opening of the new Western Sydney Airport, would that change anything? I can see some reward flights available to book from Kingsford, do you think they will move to WSA or open more flights from/to WSA?

Honestly, I am sick of the plethora of posts complaining and blaming Apple for hiking the price, rightly so or not.

Apple isn’t the only company making laptops or tablets. Don’t like them? Think their prices are unjustified? Vote with your wallet. GIVE SOMEONE ELSE YOUR BUSINESS.

I know it sucks. But the hysteria so far? Lol, you guys are acting like Apple is putting a gun next to your head, forcing you to buy their products.

The best message you can send Apple is not to buy their products.

Ironically the more you whinge, the more you prove it to Apple’s market research team that their products and ecology are difficult to replace, and you will eventually give them money anyway.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the MacBook Pro M5 Space Black. I like the colour but I’m curious if it’s prone to fading and scratches around the edges, corners, ports and where you rest your hand as some people, particularly those with the M3 Space Black, have complained.

I’d love to get the Space Black but if the paint fades after a few months and scratches become visible, I’d rather get the silver one. My three-year-old silver looks exactly the same as day one. Appreciate if you could share how yours is holding up.

So thanks to a combination of discount and tax benefit, I could sell my 3yo Mac m1 and buy a Mac neo without really spending anything out of pocket.

Would you do it if you were me just to have a new device with warranty, longer support from Apple and also potentially better resale value due to it being new? As I might get a new MacBook Pro next year be it m6 or m5.
