The Type R corral at Mid-Ohio for the Indy race today was a blast! Was able to squeeze in some mods before going. PRL coolant expansion tank, PRL catch can, PWR intercooler with PRL charge pipes. As well as MDR rear wiper delete (do not recommend the MDR rear wiper delete) as well as tinting out the rear deflectors and the OEM under hood wings to clean up the engine bay
I’m very new into 2011s and I’ve settled on an AF Romulus is like to shoot and tinker with to end up doing comps with. I’m looking into getting the polished 4.25in comp model. But I’d like to add a RMR red dot on it and I’m seeing so much conflicting info on gen 1 only being polished and they’re only RMSC cut and gen 2 has plates for RMR but only comes in satin. But I’m finding them in polished with what looks like the gen 2 model and it says they’re MOS models so I’m confused. Anyways the UPC is 810100535766. Any help for clarification would be appreciated. Thanks!
I plan on painting the aluminum part of my PRL inlet pipe. Make it look cleaner and possibly help with temps as I will use ceramic to coat it. Any advice? I just hope it won’t hold in heat compared to the aluminum finish. Unsure if I should just clean it up or paint it
Finally getting an intercooler. After research I have decided on a PWR for the tube and fin aspect due to me wanting to track it. I’m trying to decide if I should paint it black to get an all blacked out look so I need some inspiration from anyone that has a black on black Type R. Thanks!

Competed in my first competition with this build. I will say. I will absolutely be doing it again. Such a blast and everyone there were friendly and helpful. Now scoring wise. I wasn’t the best but hey I didn’t DQ so that’s a win in my book. Hopefully more to come!
