Is this a safe way to increase volume?

After I export my file from GarageBand as an uncompressed wav I put it through Lexus audio editor to raise the volume to make it sound fuller. The second image is the result. I listen back and it seems like it isn’t clipping but the audio does sound slightly unstable if that makes sense. All the tracks are super low in the GarageBand project.

Are able to tell by the second image if the track is clipping? Thanks!

Does anyone believe the physical transformation contributed to sustained success?

I usually only hear Michael’s plastic surgery referenced as one of many reasons that he began to draw negative attention from tabloids.

While I think it’s true his changing looks had a negative impact on his persona in some ways and potentially alienated him from black audiences (I’m black btw), I’d argue that the fact that he had starkly different looks for each era added to his mystique. It’s a part of the art at this point. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that his dancing, production and singing styles evolved in a comparable fashion. He couldn’t help having vitiligo and he almost certainly had body dysmorphia, but I also think his cosmetic alterations were a function of his objective to constantly reinvent himself.

This is a weird analogy, but as a young fan, going through MJ’s career was compelling in a similar way to discovering the Sopranos. You start with Season one and by the end of season 6 the show is barely recognizable in a really compelling way. There’s hints along the way of what the show will become but you could never guess that an episode like Long Term Parking will ultimately follow an episode like a hit is a hit. It encourages rewatches.

MJ’s career is similar. Just watch I Want You Back on Ed Sullivan and then watch Remember the Time right after.

Homelander question

Homelander question

I know the twist (Black Noir being a Homelander clone actually responsible for his worst atrocities), but I was curious if Homelander is characterized in a way similar to Anthony Starr’s portrayal? Do the comics go into detail about his tragic upbringing, his need for love and approval? Or is he basically a different character all together in the books?
