Having a hard time crossing echinopsis subanueta with other trichocereus. Any ideas or help for more success?

Basically the title . Ive tried to pollinate a few different trichocereus with echinopsis subanueta pollen. I'm having about 50 percent success. Any ideas for better success? I have a upcoming flower I want to pollinate with e.sub but wondering if there's anything I can do to increase success? I like the stout small growing of e.sub and want to create more crosses with bigger trichos .

Lean tek, trust the process.

I had these three bridgesii crosses around the back in the shade and they never really did much. Then about a month ago I eased them into full sun and planted them all uneven with a lean in full sun. Now it's been about a month and they have all pupped at the base!. Lean tek and forget about it for the win!!
