Found a Stamp Collection while cleaning. Looking for an appraiser.

I'm from the Philippines and I found a book of stamps from the US, Europe and Asia. Based on Google, these stamps are from the late 80s to early 2000s. I'm looking to sell them because I'm low on cash. I need someone to appraise the collection before selling them. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance 😊

Trying to annoy my Bulgarian Boyfriend

Hello! Title isn't as bad as it sounds, I promise.

My Bulgarian boyfriend and I have this thing where I try to annoy him (but he never gets annoyed. I swear I don't deserve this man) by asking typical girl questions like "would you still love me if I was a worm" etc. I'm slowly learning the language because the alphabet is messing with my brain (I made flashcards and I'm learning, I promise) but can you amazing people of Reddit help me translate the typical questions I ask him because I have Google translate trust issues. I'm also open to suggestions for questions I could ask him that has the same vibe as the worm questions. But here are a few questions I usually ask him:

  • Would you still love me if I was a worm?
  • Are you still sleeping?
  • Are you pooping?
  • Can we get fried chicken?
  • Can you get me a pizza?
  • Can we have fries?
  • Can I touch your butt?

I'd like to spring him these questions every once in a while because we're long distance right now and he's having a hard time but he gets entertained when he sees me trying to learn Bulgarian and he could really use a distraction from his problems. I hope you guys can help. Thanks in advance 😊

In need of funds (50 USD) to fix fridge

Hello! I am a home baker based in the Philippines. We've been experiencing an energy crisis here the past few weeks and due to the unstable power supply, my fridge's relay broke. I need around 2,000 Philippine pesos (50 USD) to get it fixed. My baking business isn't big enough yet to afford this repair as I've only started it. All of my equipment are gifted/donated and I really can't afford to buy a new one. My fridge is an essential part of preparing and storing my inventory. I need it to keep my business. Please help.

Sharing a wholesome moment with everyone

In Mrs. Doubtfire's voice HELLOOOOOO!

UPDATE: I posted a question about tight vs loose trucks a few weeks ago. So, I took people's advice on loosening my trucks to be able to do edges more easily (thank you good people of Reddit for teaching me the technical term for the leaning thing). Been able to practice skating consistently a few days a week but I still won't be able to share progress videos because I'm shy 😅. Will continue to practice tho 😊

Anyway, on to the wholesome moment. While skating the other day a bunch of neighborhood kids (ages 8-10) were watching me practice. They were asking a lot of questions about skating, although I told them I'm just a beginner and still know little about skating myself. As I was removing my skates and packing up to go home, they asked me if they could try on my skates. I had a lot of apprehensions, one is that my skates look like they're heavier than the youngest kid (exaggerating but the little 8 year old is really small), but I wouldn't want to crush small childrens' dreams so I asked them if they could get socks (they live nearby) because you know, hygiene. They sprinted to their house and got socks. Gave them ground rules for safety. I made them squat low while I slowly pull them around and they only got 5 minutes each. I also asked them to call an adult for permission and to supervise. They were really happy that they got to try roller skating but I think I fucked up because all three of them are pestering their adult companion to buy them skates now 😅

So, I posted here about being scared to go back into roller skating. I finally did today and my legs are sore. I looked like a baby gazelle trying to learn how to walk and felt like a fool but it was great. Doing good progress on pushing off but I still get scared when I go too far without pushing.

Anyways, I saw a video that says I should adjust my trucks but didn't explain why. Why should or shouldn't I loosen my trucks? (They're called trucks, right? Tracks? IDK) Somebody explain it to me please. I'm new at this. Also, I crocheted the toe caps myself 😊
