How does CEX verify what was sold?

In a prebuilt pc I purchased the description and title is just 2TB SSD. But doesn't specify the brand or even type of SSD. So could be a nvme or could be a 2.5 drive for example. Given there is no name on my purchase how would they verify this if I was claiming on the warranty etc. or furthermore things like the mother board and power supply or case are all not added in my purchase description so how do they warranty this? If I take it back in a new case with a different motherboard what would stop me? It's very confusing

Best 50 pound GPUs (uk)

Hi all. Im looking for a decent 50 pound gpu for a super budget build. So far I think the best option is GTX 980 4GB from cex for 45 pounds. Any alternatives with better performance at this price? Building my first rig as seen in prior post

Thanks all

Calling ROG G700s owners!

Does anyone know if you can swap the 12VHPWR cable for a 8 pin? I bought the case pre owned and wondered if anyone had swapped that out as I cant see anything online. Thanks

My First Build is Complete!

Case including Power Supply ROG G700 and CPU Cooler £40 (facebook marketplace)

CPU Ryzen 5 7600x £120 but was Free (Amazon Arrived Damaged Case so they refunded and told me to keep)

GPU bought Radeon HD 6850 £3 (ebay) psu built into case only has 12VHPWR. As such using integrated graphics.

NVME 256GB M.2 Samsung £20 (cex) (extra note. Swapping from HDD to my first NVME blew me away. Holy is it so much faster and responsive.)

RGB Keyboard Unbranded and Wired Mouse £2 (cex)

Motherboard MSI B850-S WiFi 6E £120 Currys

RAM DDR5 Crucial Pro Clocking 1x16GB 6400MTs £120 (cex)

Thermal Paste Arctic MX-6 £5.11(amazon) (refunded as delayed in post)

Screw Kit 500 Pieces £3.99 (amazon)

Monitor Asus ROG Strix XG27UQR 27" 144Hz 4K Gaming LED Monitor £35 (ebay)

Display port cable £3.99 (amazon)

Saving for GPU with 12VHPWR. Sadly these seem extremely expensive so may be a couple years yet lol. Thanks for taking the time to read.

All in the build has cost me ~340 but should have been 460 with the cpu if it wasn't free. Im very happy with it and wish you all the best on your builds.

Super Budget GPU suggestions?

Hey all. Im new to building a pc and am looking to get a newer very cheap gpu. I currently have an nvidia nvs 310. AFAIK this is a rather dated card. Im based in UK and have a budget of 50 pounds. Im leaning towards cex as they have warranty but if anyone has any suggestions or cards they'd recommend id really appreciate it. All the best 😁
