Found this in some old boxes and when I googled it, I was lead to this community. My dad worked on this album, so I was curious about it.

I wanted to share a photo of this guitar my dad built about 20 years ago.

He took a luthier class in Malone, NY, and became friends with the shop owner, so he kept building a few guitars there after the class ended. This was the last one he made. He didn't get a chance to finish it before moving away, so the shop owner, Dave Nichols, did the inlay work for him.

When my dad passed away, I grabbed this guitar and an antique Mossman before his wife sold the rest of his collection for what I'm sure was next to nothing.

It was my dad's. I vaguely remember him telling a story about someone thinking it was a Great Plains, and he said it was a Great Lakes (which apparently didn't exist). I'm wondering if it's a custom version of one of their stock guitars.
