How do people emotionally survive knowing the gender of an embryo if transfer doesn’t work?
We had our first transfer last month and surprise surprise, negative hCG. Before the transfer, they asked us if we had a gender preference and if we wanted to know the gender, to which we said no. I’m already sad about the negative (I’d nicknamed the little picture they gave us of the embryo “Squirt”) but I can’t imagine how much harder it would have been if I had known boy or girl.

So why are all the outlets upside down?
A number of my chargers are heavier on the bottom than the top (including the provided blow dryer) and it’s difficult to keep them in the upside down outlet. My travel Apple Watch charger is part of the plug and I’m having a hard time keeping it attached to the charger when the only options are it hanging upside down or sideways. Not terribly inconvenient or anything but it’s odd
