Consumed approx. 150 to 200 seeds just now. I'll update you on how it goes.

Hopefully the nausea won't kill me. This isn’t my first round with hallucinogens in general, for context—just with LSA in particular. First impressions: the flavor was fine, in my opinion; reports of the seeds’ being inedible is exaggerated.

Update: Already experiencing light visuals eleven minutes in, which would make sense given I’m on an empty stomach (mostly).

Received an email about a local hiring event soon after my "digital interview." Does this imply anything?

Typically when I read people's experiences applying/working for Allied they describe an in-person interview offer soon after the completion of their digital one. I think I responded to the digital interview questions in a suitably cogent manner and put a good amount of effort into my responses (with all the correct jargon, too).

I haven't received any news about my application for that particular job, though I did receive the email mentioned above. Do you think it's worth attending the hiring event? Does the email imply that my application for that specific job was rejected?

Thanks in advance.

What do people here think of In Praise of Shadows’ claim that, potentially, Lovecraft was in some way gender dysphoric?

He didn’t make any strong statements but claimed he thought it “likely,” or something along those lines, based upon what he’d read about his childhood. Obviously it’s very speculative and probably not super important to Lovecraft’s work or his legacy, but I’m curious about the validity of the scholarship in the video.
