I made these billboards for my Wasteland terrain
On thingiverse I found Sablebadger's lovely billboards for Gaslands and thought they might be fitting for FWW. I hand painted them and glued ingame screenshots onto them.

I did not like the Shishkebab so I have changed it for a Laser Rifle. I gave the one with the Flamer a BoS Knight paintjob from Fallout 76 since I always wanted a classic Knight for my Brotherhood Squad.
The fortress was built in the mid-14th century. At that time, there were only two gateways into East Frisia: Stickhausen Castle in the west and Friedeburg Castle in the east. Stickhausen Castle controlled trade routes stretching from Hamburg to the Netherlands, as it was situated at the confluence of two rivers and along the main road to Leer and Emden. Furthermore, it protected East Frisia against the County (and later Duchy) of Oldenburg. The castle held a key strategic position during the Thirty Years' War.
It was not until the Napoleonic era that the castle suffered irreparable damage; it was subsequently demolished by the Prussians. Today, only the main building and the keep remain.
This is my updated gear for tournament fighting.
For this, I drew significant inspiration from the depiction of Goliath in the Maciejowski Bible (13th century).

I swapped my enclosed helmet for a kettle hat, as the latter offers better visibility during combat. Unfortunately, the helmet isn't entirely historically accurate for the 13th century, so I might modify its appearance slightly.

My new surcoat is sleeveless and solid coloured, making it more consistent with historical depictions from that era. I decided against displaying a coat of arms on the surcoat, as there is simply too little historical evidence for multi coloured surcoats or applied heraldic emblems.

I also fitted my mail coif with leather straps. This ensures the coif is better secured to my head and neck. Not only does it look much better, but it also stays firmly in place without shifting or wobbling.

Next, I plan to add mail chausses or simply steel shin plates to complete the setup.

I have swapped my enclosed helmet for a kettle hat. Even though the latter doesn't fit the 13th century, it is better suited for combat due to the good visibility it offers.
I have also secured my chainmail coif at the neck and head with leather cords for a better fit.

My new surcoat, with its sleeveless cut, aligns more closely with historical depictions. I have also decided against displaying a coat of arms on the surcoat, as I lack historical depictions for multi-colored tabards or embroided crests. Chainmail leg armor will be the next step to complete this setup.
I made a diorama for the awesome 76261 alternative build by Rebrickable user brick98989. It looks fantastic with the original 2002 Minifigures.
I would like to wear my new helmet to complement my 13th-century kit. I know that the earliest kettle hats were constructed with riveted bands, but I have found little information on the evolution of these helmets.
I have found an illustration by G. Turner depicting an Italian feditore from 1289 wearing a kettle hat that does not feature riveted bands. So, may I wear this helmet for 13th century reenactment?
I went to premiere night two days ago in my X-Wing gear. I came to see X-Wings, I saw X-Wings, Star Wars is awesome and I am happy.
In my last post I showed you guys my collection. I found a few more Nuka Cola related items and decided to build a whole Nuka C.A.M.P.
My Camp is located south of Watoga so if you ever see my camp make sure to visit me and grab an ice cold bottle of Nuka
Got the Nuka Cola™ and Quantum™ power armor paints yesterday to finish my collection. I guess I found many Nuka Cola™ items so far.
I have made a few adjustments to my pre-1250 kit: my new mail shirt is riveted and features a significantly narrower cut. I now wear it without my old gambeson, which makes my overall silhouette appear slimmer, thereby aligning it more closely with depictions I found in the Codex Manesse and the Morgan Bible. Not quite 100% accurate but a small step in the right direction.
Last weekend a friend came over to play some wasteland warfare. The first couple of games where basic scenarios to familiarize ourself with the rules. Then we played two real games for about 2,5h each:
The first game was a classic Survivors (my friend) vs Raiders (me) over controlling Red Rocket Station. We had a few side quests besides from killing each other mercilessly with a roaming deathclaw for some extra spice.
For the second game we created a co-op mission on our own. The Vault Overseer sent two idiots from Garbage Disposal to the surface: Without weapons or equipment, we had to find what we needed to survive, then snatch a Deathclaw baby from its nest and bring it back to the Vault. We drew way too many random events from the card deck, turning the game into utter chaos as we were chased by an enraged Deathclaw mother all with a ridiculous selection of random equipment.
Maximum fun in true Fallout style. I never thought this game could be such an adventure.
I hope some of you enjoy this little wasteland tour
