Open to suggestions/questions/criticism(the constructive kind lol) on my approach to the system of reservation. Let's not make this a toxic post and encourage healthy discussion where people can pose their questions freely(Is sub pe critical thinking rarely dikhti and agenda peddling and insult slinging zyada so let's make it a worthwhile discussion).

For starters , **I am not against reservation** but I believe its **amount and nature(caste-based) forbids India from becoming a meritocratic nation and is directly sabotaging our nation's development**.Atleast, objective nature exams for jobs/college-entrance should have no caste-based reservations.

With Pant—>Kuldeep + 12cr trade rumours almost confirmed , here is what a probable lineup looks like for next year

So we need atleast 2 all rounders (and atleast one of them should be a spin all rounder) , 1 anchor(to save collapse) and 1 reliable finisher.

Markram - Pros:Collapse saver + spin all rounder + captaincy material . Cons:Takes Overseas slot+ineffective at no.4.

Badoni - Pros:Collapse saver+spin all rounder. Cons:Lacks power hitting

Mukul/Samad - Pros:Indian pinch hitters. Cons:unreliable finishers.

Shahbaz - Pros:Proper spin all rounder. Cons:Very inconsistent in both batting and bowling.

Now its quite clear that we are missing a proven finisher(1st priority) and good all rounders(2nd priority). So if we can get 2 or 3 hard hitting options in lower order (who will most probably have to be overseas) , we can play Badoni at the 4.

PROBABLE TARGETS(out of the players I think will be available for 2027 mini auction)- Stokes, Dube(rumours of CSK releasing him) ,Bracewell , Jamie Smith , Coetzee/Atkinson/Pretorius , Lomror(upgrade over Shahbaz) , Abhinav Manohar(upgrade over Samad) .

Any 1 out of first 4 might be the missing piece for LSG.

(I dont really know about the plans of releasing/retaining other teams so I have not taken their players into consideration. Tell me if any team plans to release players having the profiles I have mentioned above)
