School Choices

Our 5 y.o. preschooler starts primary school next year, so choosing a school at the moment.

It's between two - a private school a 5 minute walk away with 350 students in total, 2 prep classes, top 11% of state in results. Looked good in school tours.

Another private school, 10 minute drive away /15 minute bike / 25 minute walk, 550 students, 4 prep classes, top 7% of state in results. Looked ok in school tours, but not as much 1:1 time spent with teachers, more students doing the tour.

We like both. Costs are similar. Both are good schools. Considering the bigger school as it may be more challenging for our little one as she needs to be challenged, she already has a lot of learning from home so want her to have opportunities and social situations that will help her to grow.

Wanting to get other parents perspectives on choosing schools for their little ones?
