I was wondering if anyone was looking for one and wanted to buy it? I wouldn’t charge anything crazy, just want it to go to a good home, because I’m keeping mine but my dad doesn’t want his lol

Hi everyone! Previous nannies told me to post on facebook and use that to find a family, but I am only getting weird scammy responses. They use the same/similar wording, talk about moving furniture?, and more things that I’d consider red flags. I was just wondering if there’s another way? Should I use a site like care.com or an agency? I’d prefer live in but none of these people/scammers were. I’m in NY if that helps, but looking to switch to NJ. I am certified and have references, just need advice because I’ve seen people/been told this was how people found a family to work for

Recently I met some new friends, and one of the guys specifically was super friendly and we got along so well that people thought we were together. Except…I’m a lesbian and he’s gay so maybe everyone’s gaydar was just non existent. That or they didn’t want to assume I guess?But here comes my mom…I’m telling her about everyone and how nice they are and she starts asking if the guy was cute and single. I said he’s gay….she didn’t find that relevant of course because that’s how she is. And before someone asks…. yes I am out and have been for years. I had a girlfriend for a year and a half and never introduced her because I didn’t want to put her in that situation, even when we were friends and liked each other for over a year before doing anything (I was just kinda hoping it would go away but of course it didn’t). It was the best experience of my life and perfect in every way and I cannot imagine dating a guy and I just wish she’d accept that. I will say at least my sister is the most accepting and my favorite person in the world and thought my mom suggesting a lavender relationship was hilarious, I love that she knew what that was😭. I don’t know where I’m going with this, but has anyone’s parents (or mom specifically) “gotten over it” and eventually accepted you? Because I’m losing hope…. I don’t want to lose her because she’s my mom but I cannot stomach trying to be someone I’m not
