Cayden Lindstrom Goal in First MSU Game

Cayden Lindstrom Goal in First MSU Game

Play starts at 3:04. Started on the third line at center with Mason West (Chicago) and Shane Vansaghi (Philadelphia). Great shot from the top of the slot, loved how quickly he won the puck, got off the wall, and drove to the inside.

Still a long way to go, and this might end up meaning nothing, but I'm glad to see all his hard work the past couple years got him off to a good start this season. Hope it continues. I'm rooting for the kid.

Tattoos that actually work with AW

As someone who is about to get a tattoo sleeve, this AW situation has been a bit of an eye opener for me. I've done lots of searching, and I see plenty of workarounds (wear on other wrists, stickers, tape, Etsy, etc) but I haven't really seen to many people talking in detail about the tattoos they have that DON'T mess with the AW sensors. So, two things:

  1. if you wear an AW directly over tattoos and it still works fine (no need to turn off wrist detection) what kind of tats do you have?

  2. the design I'll be getting looks like this pic (wrist is an the top) and I imagine the AW would probably sit in-between the two thicker lines and probably on top of the thin middle line. Yes, I'm getting that specific arm tattooed, and yes my plan is to wear the watch on it, if I need workarounds the so be it. I think I'll try and have the design be wide enough to hopefully have fully clear skin there, but I'm not trying to have a huge weird gap either lol. I'd imagine a thin line like that might be ok, but I'm not sure. Thoughts?

Cayden Lindstrom Media Availability

Look... I don't know if Lindstrom still has the same potential or not when he was drafted, maybe it just takes him a year or two longer to get there. Maybe he's just a potential middle six guy now. Maybe he doesn't even make the league. Who knows...

That being said, I'm rooting for him so hard. He's so goddamn likable. He's smart, funny, self-aware, humble, and determined. He has no misconceptions about where he's at in his developmental timeline. No misconceptions about what people think about him. No delusions of grandeur about how he's better than he actually is at the moment.

He admitted he didn't like how his season at MSU went and that he made some mistakes, acknowledged now that he has a year of hockey under his belt and that he feels healthy he has no excuses not to produce. Just a down to Earth dude that's been humbled by the situation and isn't afraid to open up about it and be brutally honest.

We don't need to talk about Demidov in this thread (I was always pro-Demidov for the record). I was just struck by how likable and honest he is.

Coyle Contract Details

Deal is 5.77% of the cap.

All salary, no bonuses, which means it is NOT buyout proof.

No Move Clause years 1-4, 20 team NMC year 5, 10 team NMC year 6.

Term is a bit much, but it's all salary so that's ok.
