Considering a G05 X5 to replace our 2023 Outback. Does anyone have experience with rear-facing car seats behind a 6’ (or taller) driver?
Our Outback has great rear seat room. I can have my seat in the normal position (fairly lanky/33” inseam) and still plenty of room/not touching car seat.
Wanted to switch up the look a bit of my tried and true SKX007.
This is the AnchorFLEX Pro in “Seaweed Green” color. By far the most expensive non-bracelet purchase I’ve made, but the quality is there, material is supple/flexible and it fits well on my wrist.
Lots of extra strap which I may trim (6.5” wrist) but loving it so far.
Wonderful afternoon ride—then out of nowhere (around 50mph) it started bogging, then stalled and wouldn’t restart (just cranking and cranking). No check engine light, 1/2 tank of ethanol-free fuel from my normal gas station. Nothing visually weird with the kickstand safety switch/kill switch etc.
Grabbed an uber and tracked down a trailer to drag it home. After sitting in the garage/totally cooled down (4hrs?) it restarted with no issues which leads me to believe the fuel pump is toast. When I was stranded I also couldn’t hear the high-pitched wine of the fuel jump when turning the ignition on (no sound at all).
2022 with ~1800mi. I’ve seen a few posts mentioning a Vespa TSB for faulty fuel pump internals for this year, but not a formal recall.
Has anyone dealt with this? Covered by Vespa? What are the chances I can get them to “goodwill” my trailer/Uber expenses given this is a (potentially) known issue?
