🌕 Bruuxer for Android TV (free, ad-free browser + built-in game collection) — new board game "Moonpool" launching in ~4 days
Hey everyone,
I want to share an update on Bruuxer, my free Android TV app, and announce that a brand-new game — Moonpool — is about to join the collection.
What is Bruuxer?
Bruuxer is a free, remote-control-friendly web browser built specifically for Android TV, bundled with a growing collection of built-in games you can play entirely with your TV remote — no mouse, keyboard, or gamepad required. It's completely free and ad-free, no subscriptions, no interstitial ads between games. Think of it as "a TV browser that also happens to be a mini arcade."
The games currently in Bruuxer
- Snake – the classic snake game, remote-friendly and TV-sized.
- Four Wins – the classic "Connect Four" strategy game, play against a friend or the AI.
- Bruuxout – a paddle-and-ball brick breaker with power-ups and a boss fight at the end.
- Bruuxee – a colorful side-scrolling platformer/jump'n'run across multiple worlds, with power-ups, enemies, and boss fights.
- Bluukee – a falling-block puzzle game, complete with a special bomb piece.
- Space Bruuxer – a fast-paced space dodger/shooter: steer through asteroid fields, grab power-ups, and survive as long as you can.
- Solitaire – classic card solitaire, built for the couch.
- BrocksNDias – an Emerald Mine / Boulder Dash inspired puzzle adventure: dig through caves, collect gems, and dodge falling rocks and enemies — with almost 6000 levels to load via the floppy-disk icon.
And now: Moonpool 🌕🚀
The big news: Moonpool, a brand-new turn-based board game, is in its final release phase and should land in the Play Store in about 3-4 days.
Moonpool takes the classic "buy properties, collect rent, don't go broke" board game formula and rebuilds it from scratch with a lunar sci-fi setting:
- Buy real Moon craters — each one is named after an actual astronomer (Plato, Copernicus, Tycho, Kepler, Archimedes, and more), so you pick up a bit of real astronomy while you play.
- Build research modules and lunar colonies once you control a full set of craters.
- Trade with your opponents, manage mortgages, and keep enough cash on hand to survive rent payments.
- Play with up to 6 players total, mixing humans and AI opponents on three difficulty levels.
- Fully playable with just the TV remote — no extra controller needed.
It's built for the whole family: board game fans will feel right at home with the familiar mechanics, while kids and casual players get a bit of painless "hey, that's a real crater!" learning mixed into the fun.
If you want a preview of how it plays, there's already a full guide up:
