Was at a Sportsman Warehouse and got to feel and try on a Blitz 35. it was quite disappointing because the material and construction, fit was not as good as I'd imagine based on all the marketing.
now, I've been eyeing a 3DAP or even the 1k Blackjack 50L. but if they are made like the blitz 35 then I have my doubts about plunking down that much for one.

I need to replace my leather bottom LLBean bag that I've had for 26 years. It has carried my D&D gear; namely rulebooks, ruler, grid paper, composition notebooks, dice, etc. for years but now has holes. Am looking for a good sized pack to hold the gear for years to come. Anyone have a pack that they like to carry your D&D treasure?

however, the price on the site is almost $700 for a backpack?? Is the price not outrageous or am i just poor??

Is the yoke more based soley on torso length or does chest girth play a roll in yoke sizing? I am 5'6 and wear size Medium shirts because am fit with the upper body, and find small shirts to be too small at the armpits and restrictive to arm movement. When looking at the MR sizing, I can be either at the tall end of the small, or small end of the medium yoke.
I have a 29 inch waist, so am thinking small waist belt. They said they could send me a small waist belt if needed, but not sure how much of an alteration that would be (would have to call them to make the order since not an option on the website).
Mainly wondering if anyone also in between with the Small- Mediums or others in-between sizes and their experiences...
Any thoughts?

I am looking for my next tactical pack, for everyday use or for light 2-3 day trips. have a USGI Molle II and Filbe 3DAP. Love them both. Now am looking for something more modern and more comfortable if that's a thing. Any thoughts on the Mystery Ranch Raid LT-32 vs the Stone Glacier R1? I tried the London Bridge 30L but it ironically did not fit; shoulder straps did not adjust to my 5'6 size so i had to return it. Am considering the the 5.11 Rush 24, but am looking at these first because more field-tested packs.
Both are pricey so can get either or, and am hoping it will be my last 'keep for life' pack.
Any thoughts on these packs from owners, handlers, or those in the business?
Am considering these two tents for a hike to Cumberland Island Georgia. Want something light and good in hotter and humid weather. Buggy. Any thoughts on this comparison? Thanks
