Ticking noise

I went down in some mud Wich was a pretty soft landing in my opinion but ever since I’ve had this ticking noise it’s possible it sounded that way before and I’m over thinking it but I did some research and it seemed like it would be the atc so I replaced with a manual but I can’t get it to quit anybody have any insight if it sounds normal or what direction to go next? This is on a drz250 but from what I read it and the 400 are fairly similar.

Arduino opts

I was looking into this based of price and can still use ladder logic. The reviews don’t give much hope though. Anyone know of something I can get on a budget that runs of ladder that works decent?

helmet sizing

I had bought another helmet in 2X and decided it was “too small.” The guy at Cycle Gear measured my head (first time I’ve ever had that done). He said, “You’re not gonna like this, but you’re actually an XL.”

I immediately thought, You're full of shit. But I actually listened to him, picked out an XL, and took it home. He told me I could wear it for an hour and see if I got any pain. If I did, I could bring it back and we’d switch it for something else — just don’t ride in it.

As I sit here typing this, I’ve been wearing the XL for about the past 50 minutes and there’s no pain. The cheeks are pretty tight, which will loosen up after a while, and it’s pretty snug getting on and off, which I’ve learned is how it’s supposed to be.

I’m actually glad. It’s a bit difficult finding helmets when one of the boxes you need checked is “must fit a bowling ball in it.”

Moral of the story: Don’t shoot for immediate comfort and maybe get measured lol.

Late may bdr?

Kind of narrowing it in between big bend hill country or Colorado. Any suggestions on Wich would be the most ideal the last week of may? I really think I want to go to big bend but unsure about the weather. It would be the first real bet I’ve been to. I’ve messed around on the oklahoma local goat route but it’s pretty mundane. Not looking to get into anything to crazy as I’ll be solo but really want to get out.
Any input or suggestions would be great, I’d also like to just camp the whole time if possible hotels are fine but seems like it would take away from the time.

I was at Best Buy and found a good looking set of headphones called the arctic pro nova Omni. Decided I’d buy them. When to pay and said they couldn’t be sold as they weren’t supposed to be on the shelf yet. He said they release on may 5th and can be bought then but I can’t find any info online on them.
