The eye

Like you and I

Only looks beyond

And not the present

And like the eye,

We are nothing

A thing to be fixed

Or broke

To remain within

And never to leave

To serve forever a mind

We enslaved ourselves to

Why ask for knowledge,

Knowing well you will not use it?

Why ask why,

Or how,

Or what,

When you will not admit the truth?

You are faced with absolute knowledge,

The truth a second away from you,

And yet you refuse it?

You know why.

The truth is cold

It is dead and cold and bitter.

And you do not want a dead and cold and bitter

Answer

Now do you?

So what is the harm in a sweet lie?

One little lie

To satisfy your picky curiosity?

Oh?

What's this?

You refuse the lie, as well?

Is it too sweet?

What then, can I give you?

They will only ever be

Unsatisfied

Ungrateful

Arrogant

They know more than you

But they don't

So why do they hate you?

You answered their questions

You lied to answer them,

But that was it, was it not?

The lie?

Truth is dead and cold and bitter, but it is still the truth

And lies may be sweet and satisfying,

But they lack the content behind their words

Much like you

For you have become a lie

And neither you nor them can tell what is true or false

Only that your mind is sinking into madness

A madness of your own

Creation

Destruction?

At least now they won't ask such questions

So there are 2 new hires at my work, both guys btw

The first one is like 20 something but nervous out of his mind and terrified of everything [guess who has to train him?].

The other guy is maybe 13 or 14[ its a fast food place child labor laws don't really exist here] and keeps hitting on me and the girls at work, how do I deal with him? He can't really do anything other than annoy us since he's so young, but it's really weird.
