On June 30th she wandered into the territory of another of P151's older daughters (P151-32), who recently had her first litter with P661. Reportedly, the other tigress was around but she didn't react much to her presence. So she hung on in the area for almost 30 mins. This is when P661 arrived and he did not take kindly to her presence. He tried to drive her away, but shockingly the young girl stood her ground and kept fighting till an angry and irritated P661 pinned her down and finished her off.
Looking at all her recent footage, she clearly would have been an awesome queen.

Tadoba trip with the Clicknframe team. This male tiger got into an intense fight with a sloth bear. It kicked off out of nowhere, and at one point both animals charged towards our gypsy, which had all of us proper panicking. The whole encounter was absolutely amazing..!
In the end, the tiger came out on top. Then, on our second full day, we were lucky enough to see the very same male feeding on the kill.

When on a tiger safari in Bandhavgarh in 2018, I spotted a female tiger (Spotty) and 2 of her newly born cubs. Could anyone shed any light on what happened to Spotty and her cubs, and her sister Dotty?

Shambhu, the male tiger, is finally back in the tourism area after a brief 10-day disappearance, reappearing on June 28, 2026.
He had gone completely elusive, leaving behind almost no clues. As a tracker, those nine days were far from being in my favor. Every passing day felt like solving an endless puzzle, and it was genuinely concerning to see him move away from his usual routines. But persistence paid off. Seeing Shambhu back has completely recharged all the energy that went into searching for him. Moments like these remind me why tracking is as much about patience, intuition, and calculation as it is about passion.
Welcome back, Shambhu.
