Big void kitten (8 months) can't keep all his paws off the floor anymore 😂
He's a 7 month old Maine Coon - essentially a giant kitten
These are not exact measurements because it depends how many people you'll be cooking for. Each bag contains:
- Either a cube of Japanese curry paste, or a spoonful of Thai green curry paste.
- Some frozen meatballs and fish balls.
- Some frozen peas.
- Some broccoli florets (either fresh or frozen).
- Some chopped Napa cabbage.
- Tofu (here you can see mine are frozen fried tofu rolls).
- Dry egg noodles.
Put the bags in the freezer. When you want hotpot/soup, dump the bag contents (carefully) into a pot of boiling water water, cook until the meatballs float (less than 5 mins), eat!
Sooty has to be separated from his bestie (Princess, she's going to be neutered on Saturday and Sooty is going the following week), so here he was, poor love, calling to her through the door. I can't usually get his mournful howls on camera because as soon as I pick up my phone, he stops - but not this time. He can get WAY louder than this, but this captures the "Victorian child ghost" vibe nicely.
Hi all!
This is not a recommendation - I am just describing what I do.
My kittens are 6 months and 7 months and I wanted to give them a protein boost. They already eat Royal Canin MC kitten kibble (free access) and Sheba Kitten wet food pouch each twice a day. I supplement this with 20g each of boiled chicken.
Simply get a bunch of boneless chicken breasts (I do 1kg at a time) and boil it in water until cooked. 1kg frozen takes around 25 mins to cook once water is boiling. It's ok if it's a bit overcooked. Cut through the thickest part to check it's cooked (meat is white, nothing transparent).
Lift the meat from the broth, set it on a plate/cutting board, and cut it up with a fork and kitchen scissors. Using a kitchen scale, measure portions of the meat into freezer ziploc-style bags. I do 20kg per cat so I freeze it into 40kg portions (2 portions, 1 day). Once the meat is portioned out, ladle the broth into the bags equally, then seal the bags and put into the freezer.
1kg frozen gets me between 12-14 portions each time, so I do this approx every 2 weeks. Each day transfer one frozen bag from the freezer to the fridge so it's ready the next day. I mix it up with their Sheba wet food in the evening, and it disappears very quickly 😂😂😂
I stopped petting her to take this photo and her highness was displeased
Sooty has not quite grasped how to use his mahoosive back legs, but he's trying 🥰
Princess staring into the distance while plotting how best to dispose of my body
This is Princess. She plots my demise and her escape every night, but she's darned cute while doing it 🥰
