Weekly dinners

I need some help coming up with ideas for planning out dinners. It’s just the two of us but I usually cook for 4 to have some left overs, I don’t really love tofu or salmon & I can’t have a lot of fried food. We have a grill so that’s included in options and I would say I am intermediate skill wise. Please help I’m out of ideas 😅

Dinner ideas for two!

Hello guys! I’m looking for dinners that are a little more than basic. I want to cook for my man and him be able to be like “damn” 😭 he appreciates everything I cook now but it’s all basic and I want more room to experiment, tired of eating the same things every week. Pretty open to everything except like tuna.
Thanks in advance!

This Honey Soy Garlic Chicken Took Instant Noodles to the Next Level

This is no doubt the best pimped-up instant noodles I’ve made so far. The marinade had so much flavour, and once the chicken was marinated and oven-baked, it tasted next level.

It was almost like having two amazing meals on one plate.

Prepping for hot weather by cooking ahead of time

EDIT: So many great ideas, thank you everyone!! going to get the slow cooker out and make some of these recipes

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but we have another heatwave coming up and I want to get ahead by cooking some things that can be eaten cold (I'm thinking salads/frittatas/picky things?).

What are your go-to cold food options to make ahead of time? Not fussy, just need a hive mind of ideas!

Creamy Oven-Baked Smoked Sausage Mac & Cheese

Mac n cheese is one of the most loved dishes by many. With macaroni, cheese, cream, and smoked sausage on hand, I had to create mac n cheese! I couldn’t keep my spoon out of the baking pan.

This is the kind of dish you’d find at the Korean BBQ restaurants in Korea. The marinade has a deep, rich flavour that makes this dish truly special.

High fiber, pork, sheet pan meal ideas?

So I'm at the store, need to make something for the wife and I but the brain is burnt out. Please help.

-sheet pan meal for minimal effort and heat added to the house. The toaster oven works great.

-pork because it is cheaper than any other meat*.

*>non meat options are welcome.

-high fiber because it's my only dietary goal for the year.

-I am willing to make rice in the rice cooker.

I appreciate any and all ideas. Thank you in advance.

Korean Marinated Beef "Bulgogi” Meatloaf with Rice and Kimchi

Meatloaf is, without a doubt, one of the finest meat-based dishes on the planet. Using what I had on hand, I decided to make a Bulgogi-inspired version (Korean marinated beef). It turned out even better than I expected!

Mozzarella cheese on rice pilaf

Ingredients

1 cup long-grain white rice

2 cups vegetable broth

2 tbsp butter or olive oil

1/2 small onion, finely diced

1 clove garlic, minced

1 cup shredded or cubed mozzarella cheese

Salt, pepper, and chopped parsley to taste

Instructions

Sauté aromatics: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until soft.

Toast the rice: Stir in the rice and let it cook for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly translucent and fragrant.

Simmer: Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Rest: Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

Add the cheese: Stir in the mozzarella while the rice is hot so it melts into gooey pockets. Garnish with parsley and season with salt and pepper.

Soy Braised Chicken, Potato, Onion, Carrot and Mushroom (Perfect with noodles or rice).

I love slow-cooked meals, especially dishes like this where the chicken and veggies slowly cook together and soak up all the flavour. It's perfect with noodles or rice!

Korean Soy Chicken Tteokbokki (Rice Cakes)

Tteokbokki is legendary Korean street food made with rice cakes, gochujang, fish cakes, and occasionally boiled eggs.

I decided to make a non-spicy version of tteokbokki using premium ingredients such as chicken tenderloin and shiitake mushrooms, served in a traditional Korean clay pot.

It’s worth trying if you want something a little different.
