Cooling fin oxidation Pt 2

I made some progress with cleaning up the oxidation on my cooling fins. I took my Dad's Multitool and one of his new blades. I epoxied a piece of paint stirring stick to the blade. Using Aerospace protectant as a cleaner this got most of the oxidation removed. The wood is soft as I didn't want to damage the cylinder surface. Over all, it looks much better.

Cooling fin oxidation

What least abrasive method is recommended to address my issue? I wash the bike twice during the riding season and another wash when I put my bike up for the winter. When I wash I use a mild mix of Dawn detergent and a painter's brush to get into crevices. I would like to remove this oxidation but I do not want to abrasive methods if it can me avoided. The bike is a 2014 Bolt .

Testing my phone as a loop camera

Just a trip around town. My phone is a Motorola . This app seems to work for recording loops of various lengths . The app also uses the phone to lock the recording in the event of a sudden stop or drop. This is the first time I've ever recorded a video.

Sway bar bushings upgrade

Doing the polyurethane sway bar bushings. These are stiffer than the rubber versions. Take a bit more effort to get them installed. I applied a dab of silicone lubricant to help getting the clamp properly seated.

Bolt Maintenance Question ?

I was reading my Bolt service / repair manual and the book calls for a rear Master Cylinder rebuild every two years. What should I do? My Bolt is a 2014 and I've never touched the rear Master Cylinder other than fluid flushing.

Brake pads

It's getting near time to replace my front pads. What brand are recommended for average riding? I know that there are different type materials. Ceramics give strong stopping power and minimum pad dust but the down side is more rotor wear. Organic material pads are easier on the rotors but make more dust. What types of pads do you "Bolt-Heads" recommend? The rear pads on my Trike are Harley stock with a four piston caliper. For those I'm limited to cindered semi metallic.
