Is a VA monitor generally better at lower brightness than IPS?

I bought a new fast IPS MSI monitor and when I make it dimmer I can't see things and compared to my old VA monitor I have to have it on a much higher brightness to see well. It just loses the colors and clarity when I make the brightness lower

Would a new VA (rapid VA but idk if that matters) be better at a low brightness than the fast IPS and resemble more of my old VA MSI monitor? The old one is g27c2.

Can you play LoL on 360 Hz?

My monitor specifically is 320 Hz but whenever I try to set up an fps limit through Nvidia app or something, the game just teleports me anyway. Is there a limit like 280 or something that doesn't teleport me but is still more than 240? Or do I just have to play on 240?

Is IPS just that intense? I need help

I bought a new PC a week ago with a new monitor MSI MAG 274QPF X32 27" 2560x1440px IPS 320Hz 0.5 ms

And compared to my old MSI g27c2 (VA) it's just soooo sooo intense and if I turn the brightness down (I played on 0 brightness on the old VA) the colors just go to shit and everything turns black-ish - and not that it's just less bright. It looks overly saturated, like a digital glow in Nvidia is high (it isn't) no matter the settings, so please don't tell me to change the settings because I've tried everything in Nvidia, the monitor itself and windows and that's just how this monitor is apparently.

Is that just how the IPS is compared to a VA?

Will the Monitor MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV 27" 2560x1440px 300Hz 0.5 ms be a better option for me? I want something that is ~300hz+ and resembles my old monitor's colors while being 2k and fast (and I really don't want to spend a fortune on an OLED with those specs).

This new monitor is really intense and it makes me not want to play. On the old monitor I would just chill (although I play comeptetive games).

How bad is OLED burn in in 2026?

I'm building a new PC and so far I chose the new MSI 320hz 1440p fast IPS display, because I'm scared of the OLED burn in as I play 5-10 hours a day (although with dim brightness) and it's mostly 1-2 of the same games (RL and cs2).

I also like to afk a ton and leave my monitor and PC on and not have to bother with it, and also I want to buy that PC with the monitor and not have to worry about anything for like 3-4+ years.

Is OLED just not for my case? Also what do you think about that 320hz 1440p MSI monitor vs a 240hz 1440p OLED?

Also I should probably mention that I really don't like a dark theme on my PC. I like my chrome white.

I'm switching from a 2018 VA 144hz 1080p MSI monitor.
