Ugh I’m so torn. I love the colors because I’m much more of a traditional Christmas gal but these look slightly too cottage-y for my taste so not sure if I’ll be ordering any. I genuinely think I would love the designs more if there was a different font on the signs 😅
I was going to do all three shades of blue in French knots but I’m worried it will be too much. Will it look better if I do the lightest shade of blue in continental and do the medium and dark blue with French knots? I plan on framing this!
Also can’t decide on a background stitch… send recommendations 😅
I saw this on TikTok and I LOVE the skirt but the stitcher used straw silk which is no longer in production. What other threads can get a similar effect?

I kitted 3 of 4 sparkle threads at my LNS and had to order the darkest one online. I think it’s pulling *slightly* more purpleish red than the deep purple painted on the canvas. I like how the other sparkle threads look but I’m second guessing all the sparkle will just be too overwhelming. Would love some second opinions on this!!

I literally love Kenzie in every other facet except when it comes to her interior design and needlepoint finishes…. I am also concerned after seeing the fabric she picked for this pillow in her most recent wip Wednesday 🙃

Hi all, hoping for some feedback on a trip I will be taking mid October. For context, 4th trip to Ireland but this will be my first time solo and I will not be renting a car. I am coming from the US so I need to be in Dublin at the end of the trip.
I have visited Killarney before but only did the Ring of Kerry so hoping to explore the town a bit more. I have not visited any part of Cork other than Blarney Castle so I'm leaning towards 3 nights in Cork in 2 in Killarney instead of vice versa but would be open to 2 in Cork and 3 in Killarney if its not worth it to dedicate 2 whole days to both Cobh and Kinsale.
Day 1: Arrive 9:45am, city link bus from Dublin Airport to Cork City, explore city center
Day 2: Day trip to Cobh via bus
Day 3: Day trip to Kinsale vis bus
Day 4: Train from Cork to Killarney, explore town center
Day 5: Muckross House (I think it's accessible by foot or bus from previous research?) OR day trip to Dingle (I've spent one night in Dingle previously-- would be open to returning on this trip if its doable)
Day 6: Train from Killarney to Dublin, explore city center
Day 7: Stay in city center to visit museums OR day trip to Howth OR guided tour of Wicklow Mountains/Glendalough
Day 8: Leave
Is it possible to do Cobh/Kinsale in one day to condense Cork to 2 days or should I skip Cobh entirely and spend the extra day in Killarney to do a guided tour of Dingle? Trying to pick the best route that doesn’t make me feel rushed. Thanks!
