5 tips to make stamping look more subtle and elegant on short nails

Stamping is fun, but bold/big designs can sometimes overwhelm short nails and they end up looking too busy. These are 5 tricks I use to keep my manicures delicate and visually spacious. My nails are 1.1 cm long aprox.

-Neutral Bases: Soft pinks or milky whites help with creating more space and make the look more classy.

-Low Contrast: Pairing the base color with a low contrasted color of stamping polish is much softer on the eyes and it doesn't cut your canvas.

-Negative Space: Letting the base color see through creates the illusion of a larger nail bed and space to breath.

-Fine Lines: Heavy lines can look cluttered and chunky. Fine lines keep the design delicate, airy and light.

-Vertical direction: prefer vertical lines that will make your nails look more elongated. Or movement of the lines pointing towards the free edge.

-Cohesiveness: Treat your hand as one canvas. All nails are different but part of the same theme. Gives visually more space and creates a vibe.

I'm curious about which are your main struggles with stamping...

This group has amazing stampers! I wonder what are the things that make your life difficult when stamping, and if you sometimes find yourself deciding not to stamp because of them. Pic of a recent stamping mani I did with chrome powders.
