Andrea Battistini, MD, Columbus, Ohio—Experience?

I recently got referred to Dr. Battistini for top surgery in Columbus, Ohio. I don’t know anything about this surgeon and can’t seem to find any information online about his procedures.

Why does my grown-out buzz cut make me look like I’m balding at certain angles..?
Looking for advice.
About 1 month ago, I buzzed my head. I’ve been bussing my head for about a year.
However, the grow out phase is always the ugliest part. Although my natural hair texture is wavy, the grow out makes me look like I’m balding have a straight afro. On top of that, although I’d say I have normal hair density/thickness, at certain angles of my head it looks like I have bald spots for whatever reason. Can someone help explain to me why this happens and if I can fix it?
Additional context:
- My hair is not dyed
- A barber told me I have about 5 cowlicks on my head, which verifies why my hair used to go in all different directions
- I completely buzzed my head—no fades or tapers up the sides/back or anything
