Issues: Lower spine injury after skiing accident (03/22) | Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) (since 05/25)

I was on the way of recovery for my back, doing various exercises and improving stability and reducing pain, when Epstein-Barr Virus got reactivated in May of last year.

This led to CFS which has robbed me of all my energy and introduced new pain (random muscle and joint pains, headaches, stomach) as well as almost constant nausea. The lack of energy has become so severe that I have to spend <90% of my life in bed, reintroducing issues with my back, whilst the constant nausea and lack of movement have caused me to eat less than before.

The prescribed painkillers merely help and due to my age I'd like to stay off of opioids for as long as possible, especially after having to take some after the initial skiing accident.

Cannabis has been helpful regarding nausea and moderate pain reduction, but my lungs just won't manage, so I had to quit that. Oils and edibles are insanely overpriced and not affordable for me.

What options do I have to manage pain and nausea, maybe even stimulate appetite? And is there any option to help my body regain some energy?

Appreciate the help!
