Looking to get my first rod since i was a kiddo. nothing crazy but would like something portable (telescopic) would want to mainly do sea fishing for mackerel and pollock. dont need to break the bank as will only be using when on holiday but also dont like to buy overly cheap gear that doesn't last. any recommendations for a complete noob?

cant find the stainless steel widemouth lid anywhere in the uk? any ideas? its not on there website :(
