Melatonin from Boots online doctor

Recently had a nosey and it seems you can get melatonin from Boots Online Doctor once you do the online consultation- I’m just wondering if anyone has used this to get melatonin and what your experience was? (I was diagnosed privately three years ago but I haven’t paid my subscription for two years and never got Shared Care 🥲)

UK migraine peeps- how we holding up?

I’m up north- thoughts and prayers to those in London. I’m okay atm but the dagger that lives behind my right eye is threatening to do some damage 😅 glad I stocked up on Triptans pre heatwave

Am I running out of time with my root canal?

Ten years ago I had a root canal done on my upper molar (the one in front of a wisdom tooth, I think it’s the 8?). Sadly two years ago that started to fail and so I had the root canal redone last year. The specialist who did the treatment recommend in then get a crown rather than a filling to reduce the risk of it failing again. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication in regards to the treatment plan- I’m in the uk and I think the specialist has assumed I was usually an NHS patient who had elected to get the root canal redone privately. I am 100% a private patient. This means unfortunately I can’t afford the crown as it is over twice as much as I was initially estimated (I am still paying off the root canal on finance). I feel so upset, I almost wish I’d just had the tooth removed if I had known this would be the full cost.
The specialist has told me I only have six months to have the crown put on, the initial procedure was done late December. Do I really only have that long? Should I just have a filling put on instead of a crown and accept it might just fail again? I do have savings but this will pretty much wipe out my whole emergency fund.
Some health info: 30f, UK based, non smoker, migraine sufferer. (Also sorry if this is just a wall
Of text, I’ve typed this on mobile so it may have gotten rid of the line breaks).

Leaving for a new job

Hi all,
I’ve recently applied for a new job as my current job requires on call (sadly a non negotiable atm) and it isnt meeting my current financial needs (there are a lot of other reasons, but these are the two big ones). The thing is, I actually really like my current job- I love my team, most of the clients are great and we practice a good standard of medicine. But I feel I need to find what’s out there. I currently have a phone interview for a new hospital next week, but at what point should I mention it to my current employer? I’ve never really complained about anything so I don’t want everyone to feel blindsided. My current job is my second job- leaving my first job was easy because I was blatantly unhappy so no one was surprised when I handed my notice in 😂

Hi all, I’m training for a 25k trail race in June! Being trail I’m expecting sections to be quite exposed to the sun. I am incredibly pale, I’m talking Victorian child with rickets pale. Even if I work on a base tan I burn crazy easily. I’ve used Reimanns P20 factor 50 sunscreen for years and it works well but I don’t think there’s a sunscreen in the world that will stop me burning when I’m out in the sun for 3+ hours. Does anyone have any recommendations for a UV shirt? I found a couple on the decathlon website but they seemed to be designed for surfing so I’m not sure how breathable they would be
