Melancholy

Been waiting for this little guy to drop since first laying eyes on them when I ordered my second Dreadful plush Pica.

So insanely happy to finally be getting her. My partner bought her for me since my birthday was just a few days ago.

Her name will be Meldew a play on Mildew. Cant wait for her to arrive!!! (Definitely will be making a post when she does)

Honeysuckle

A long awaited post on the Visual Snow Bunny!

Definitely a difficult post for me to make.

This bun represents so much more to me than just "Visual Snow" they embody a lot of my childhood.

I see my younger self in them, the colors, the pattern, then embroidery all of it.

For starters the color. As a kid I had bright blond hair until I was about 9-10 years old. Yellow surrounded me. My favorite colors use to be pink and a greenish blue. Which covered my childhood room.

When I was younger I didnt have it the easiest but I always had so much love to give. No matter what was done to me I had love for those around me. The heart with stitches represents this for me. The antenna shows how aware I was and how much of an observant child I was. Tuning into conversations, actions, etc even when I was behind closed doors. The static in the eyes also shows the feelings I had as a child, what I saw and what I felt inside my little brain. The swirls in the ears of whimsy and confusion. The feeling of static always being misplaced or never knowing what was the right thing to do. The Tv symbolism within this bunny reminds me of how much childhood shows raised me more than my own parents did. The wonders that took place as I sat in criss cross applesauce amazed at the picture and stories that passed by.

Along side with when you take a picture of this beautiful bun it never shows its true colors to the camera and you're only able to fully experience it in person. I knew I had visual snow as a young child it was the only thing I knew I had. The only comfort of "what is wrong with me." As I grew up and started to show my true self without masking I found out I had Autism along with a couple other things which gave me much relief. Those around me never noticed that I wasnt a pale yellow but I bright vibrant yellow wanting to be seen.

Now onto the name: Why did I pick Honeysuckle?

The color represents the various of Honeysuckles that can be found, but it also reminds me of some of my fondest memories. The honey suckles that grew on my schools fence. The ones that grew outside my house. The fascination I had with them. Picking and sucking on the nectar within.

Come to realize, Honeysuckle is the second flower represented for june next to roses. My birth month. It also symbolizes sweetness, happiness, affectionate devotion, protection and good luck.

Honeysuckles mean the world to me just as this little bunny represents my childhood world.

My Little Bunny Family!

In this image 4 buns are mine (Pica, VSS, Ocd, & Regression) 2 are my Partners (maladaptive daydreaming, Dyspraxia) 1 we share (Autism)

Im going to rank them plus give their names:

Visual Snow (Honeysuckle) 10/10

Definitely my favorite and deserves their own post in the future. Can rant about them a lot.

Regression (Twig & Moss) 9.5/10

My first ever Plushie Dreadful. Wish was softer. Love the colors and has made me feel less alone.

Pica (Mudpie) 8.5/10

Overall adorable plush with a pretty solid design .

The ears are more satisfying to pop than the Autism one imo.

Autism Gold (Maple) 8/10

Pretty sold, very soft, and love to fidget with the magnet and the ears

OCD V1 (unnamed) 7/10

Not my favorite however still adore him. Soft just sadly more stiff than the others and came with a hole I had to sew up. Not as hugable due to the zipper + stiffness

My partners I love and very adorable but will not comment much on them over than, I reaally like the texture of maladaptive daydreaming. Its so interesting but in a good way. Plus makes a really nice sound.

I can go on about these guys for hours (im obsessed) but this is good for now! I plan to give Honeysuckle their own Post. As well as a more in depth post about all their plushies mental and physical conditions I have (own and dont own) just basically commenting on them and rating them! Yes yes.
