Artie Lange was a big influence on me, particularly his ability to find comedy in completely chaotic, fd'up situations.

I've always loved that era of American comedy, Stern, Artie, the comedians who came through that world, and the early podcast/radio culture around it helped build what Rogan is now. Joe has said as much many times (Howards fights with the fcc etc)

So.. I ended up making a short film based on the infamous 2007 "Bro Fight" involving comedians from the Howard Stern world.

It's not an Artie Lange story, and he's not involved in the film but his comedy was a big influence on the tone and the kind of world I wanted to capture.

Would genuinely be interested to hear what people here think, particularly from anyone who was around for the Artie/Stern era like our boy Joe.

If you were around the Stern show during the Artie Lange era, you may remember the infamous “Bro Fight” from 2007.

I've always thought the incident had the ingredients of a bizarre little piece of drama in its own right, so I decided to make a short fictionalised film inspired by it.

It's called American Comedian short, but also is labled as The bro fight 2007.

I know this subreddit has people who know the original incident inside out, so I'm particularly interested in what you think of the interpretation. Did I get the tone right?
