Got a lucky with a massively discounted Lab 71 Evo G4 in BBQ (pretty sure it was to clear off stock for the Gen 5).

Decided I would build everything myself, transferring a few parts across my previous bike. It was a challenging experience and I don’t think I’d do it again, but I did save a few dollaridoos.

Off road khaki

The khaki is always my go to for cycling. Was a bit muddy and wet today so it enjoyed a bit of mud 😂. It looks Glare-y on photos but it's not that bad irl.

Oppo X9 a month later

As a 'photographer' who usually shoots with Sony and film... I've really enjoyed having the x9 (non pro). My partner always defaults to me to take concert photos/videos these days.

I also thought I'd do something crazy lately and shot a whole conference on O-LOG (with DJI gimbal etc.) on the x9 alone which was a challenging but fun exercise.

I was almost tempted to get the ultra but I love pushing what I have...

All photos shot on normal camera mode, no RAWS. Just a bit of tweaking with exposure comp or using the stage mode for the concert shots.

Wanted to give it a go, filming 'O-log' on my x9 to get a feel of content creation. I'm not exactly a pro, but always dabbled in photography. Scenes of Sydney Australia. It was shot in 4k 60fps, looks better without Reddit compression..

One of the kind things that oppo has done is share their O-log rec709 LUTs so I was able to get a quick edit from a few videos I've shot in raw/log. I know the x9 ultra also has now come with O-log 2 so would be keen to see someone's effort on it.

Tldr; shot in log, 4K, edited in DaVinci resolve.
