Kilometres might be right for an inner-city, latte-sipping European but down here in Australia we've got big distances and the kilometre just isn't cutting it any more.
Car done 100,000km? Yeah, nah: that's 100 Megametres!
Drive from Melbourne to Darwin 3,700km? 3.7 Megametres mate!

I am skeptical that writing to our local MPs can actually bring about change, but I think that in this case it's worth it.
We know that diesel pollution causes a host of health conditions including respiratory disease and as Toowoomba grows we should be trying to keep the air as breathable as we can.
In the comments I'll post a template that you can use to contact Trevor or David if you want to.
If you're in Toowoomba South contact David Janetzki: Toowoomba.South@parliament.qld.gov.au
If you're in Toowoomba North contact Trevor Watts: toowoomba.north@parliament.qld.gov.au

The Ignis weighs from 840kg (1850lbs). The ute bodystyle will reduce this but nowhere near the Mighty Boy's 550kg, but still very low for a contemporary car.
