I use MuseScore to get a piano rendition of parts for our a capella group to practice with, to transpose the pieces, and to generate PDFs.

One thing I would love to do is add a measure that sets the tempo - a metronome, but only in the first measure, that stops when the parts come in.

I could probably add a percussion instrument to do this, but is there a shortcut or trick I could use instead?

I'm on 4.7.2 on Windows, if it matters.

My husband can pee for 45 seconds straight -- the man is like a race horse. It doesn't take me nearly that long to evacuate my bladder.

Is his urethra narrower so that he pushes out the volume more slowly? Or is his bladder larger?

EDIT to clarify: He doesn't always pee that long. I think today he hydrated more and possibly held it longer. But even when I have to pee BADLY, I don't pee that long!

We're considering changing out some 50-ish year old carpet in a building in Whitby and have read that back then, they sometimes used asbestos in carpet glue.

Any idea how we could test for asbestos glue before committing to the project? (Any self-tests, or maybe a professional to come and do a fairly non-invasive check?)
