Well Dweller is an absolute gem. Go play it now!

Well Dweller is one of the best metroidvanias of the year. The gameplay and art style are amazing, and the story feels like listening to a classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale.

If you haven't played it yet, what are you waiting for? It's an absolute masterpiece!

Thank you, Kyle Thompson, you're a legend! I'm looking forward to your next game.

“ Siren/Forbidden Siren broke me… but I loved it”

So I just finished Siren a few hours ago, and honestly I’m shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I went through the whole thing without a guide, which blew my mind because I’d always heard it was basically impossible to beat without outside help. The story and atmosphere? Absolutely top tier. Where it really wore me down was in the clunky controls and the endless trial-and-error. I genuinely struggled with it, and some puzzles ended up being nothing more than pure trial-and-error until something finally worked.

Even with those quirks, the experience was super rewarding. The game actually made me do something I hadn’t done in years: grab a notebook and start jotting down clues, maps, and little details. It legit took me back to being a kid playing Resident Evil and sketching maps to figure out where the hell I was. Forbidden Siren reminded me exactly why I fell in love with survival horror in the first place.

I’m replaying Fatal Frame on PS2 after like 12 years away. All I really remember is that the later nights get pretty rough.

I just wrapped up Night 2 and my inventory looks like this:

  • 15 Herbal Medicine
  • 4 Sacred Water
  • 80 Type‑37 film
  • 20 Type‑74 film

Do you think that’s enough to be set for the final nights?
