Could I hypothetically connect my video source to a DM-TXRX-100-STR and send out a rtsp feed to my home network but at my other home I would be able to received the video stream through site to site vpn to display it. I get their will be delay but I am fine with that
I would also add firewall rules to prevent sending the video stream to the internet. Could a DM-TXRX-100-STR be used to received rtsp feed? I know I could use VLC but VLC on my tv sucks and those Crestron dms are cheap on the used market
I was thinking it would super cool if at infocomm a fight would breakout with qsys and crestron reps and there would be beef between the companies. Like I feel like crestron would be the instigators and light a qsys owned dumpster on fire and it would like an actual war between the familes.
I have been watching the sopranos a lot lately. The New Jersey crew would be AMX since they are a glorified crew and Crestron and Qsys would be the New York Families.
cant access community.crestron.com and i dont know why? This is a new personal laptop i have had for a few months now. Dont know how to fix it
i have been trying to emulate the snapshot controller load and save button press but it is not working.
What i am trying to do is first save the current routing done on my router then send it to my doorbell audio source and play the audio. After the audio of the doorbell is done then go back to the original source the room is on. I am basically doing my own audio ducking. I know their is a component for that but this makes my life easier but for some reason the aud_preset button emulation isnt working.
I have a reolink poe doorbell and I also have an audio dsp connected to speakers in my house. I really want two way audio entering in to my dsp from the doorbell. From my knowledge the only way I could do that is through onvif. Is there any device that has an audio i/o port that can accept the call?
does the reolink nvr work for that? Or some kind of device that supports onvif that can send and receive audio to an from the doorbell?
Is there a way to get an rtsp audio from an rtsp video of a 3rd party camera to Q-SYS designer?
I have this doorbell camera that gives me a rtsp feed and also gives me audio from that feed. I want to send audio to my ceiling speakers send the audio to my dsp to do the routing. My doorbell also supports onvif profile t as well.

Does anyone know a halal version of this that I could eat?
Do you guys ever see qsys, crestron, extron, unifi have a standard av over ip protocol where i could for instance use an extron encoder and then receive the video using a crestron decoder?
it would also be cool if modern tvs and sources like rokus had av over ip built in and all you had to do is connect an ethernet cable to a switch to be able to see the content and the smart remote would recognize it automatically getting rid of an HDMI connection. - obviously this would not any time in the near future but would be a very seamless process for the end user.
Hi I am in need of a vector works tutor. I want to learn how to use connect cad and make av racks, stages, schematic drawings, etc. also best practice stuff and industry standards for building stuff like this. Would anyone be interested or know someone who would be?
