Pixel 11 Pro PSA (beware)

Don't be dumb like me. I should have looked this up before.

Ordered a new 256 gb pixel 11 pro with my Google Fi offer. There was also the same promotional offer for the 512gb model. But I didn't need that extra storage.

What the store page does not tell you is the 256 gb model only has 12 GB ram. You need the 512gb or 1tb model to get the full 16gb ram.

If you buy the phone on the Google Fi app it does not tell you the ram discrepancy. Incredibly misleading store page

If you buy on the Google Store directly it does show the ram discrepancy.

I was buying via the Google Fi offer so I did not see the ram discrepancy.

Sponsored Maps/Navigation?!

was searching my vets address so can navigate, and the map that came up was a sponsored map navigation for a different vet. I had to manually close out of the sponsored navigation in order to navigate to the thing I specifically searched for.

This is so f-ing evil. It needs to be illegal to lead you off first thing with something other than what you specifically searched for. Suggestions and sponsorships and alternatives should always always always come second to the specific thing you searched for, whether you are Google, Amazon or anyone else, this needs to f-ing stop.

Moonlight issues

It only works in Lizard mode using Moonlight.

The controller works fine when using the Steam Link app on my TV, but Steam Link is hot garbage compared to Moonlight/Apollo.

Anyone have success getting it to work with Moonlight?

Steam Controller not working right

Got my dongle hooked up to the TV running moonlight to stream from my PC. The controller only works in lizard mode (keyboard and mouse)

Do you think there can be an update for moonlight to pass through the full steam controller experience? Or are we stuck with lizard mode for TVs?

Seems to work as intended when used with the SteamLink app on my TV, except steam link is hot garbage compared to moonlight/Apollo
